Hi All
I think that of all the topics and pieces that I have tried to write about, then the piece chosen by Mike Maher published by Publishing Well at Medium.com was the most exacting and difficult and the one that I am most proud of.
Do find the link to this piece – above.
My parents instilled in me the understanding that:
Humanity makes us all equal
And I am extremely proud to have benefited from their tutoring as well as from the love and care that they jointly gave to all of my family
The mantra about equality for all is the one that I have repeated to myself all of my life.
Learning to accept that not everyone abides by this simple rule has always perplexed and troubled me, so – later in life I began to recite the following phrase that
I remember reading once( and I do wish that I noted the name of the author) it went something like this:
“I lovingly forgive all of my past
I choose to fill my work with joy
I love and approve of myself”
If my poems convey only one thing
I do hope that anyone reading them -wherever you are today
whatever is happening in your life
That you begin to look after yourself so that you can begin to look after others
Wishing and praying for positivity for all
